Seek was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 1997, as an online equivalent of print employment classifieds. They have since diversified their business into a number of other streams, spanning 18 countries worldwide. Possibly the quintessential job search platform in Australia. They host job advertisements from employers in nearly every industry, both domestically and internationally. They also facilitate applications, and resume submission. A great place to begin your search. You'll also find a wealth of information on job seeking in general.

Job Active, or Australian Job Search, is a government website, designed to assist job seekers in their search for employment. You can search for jobs in both the government and private sector. But the site also offers support for business start ups, veterans, people transitioning between careers, and many more. There's a selection of occupation and industry statistics, as well as general job seeker tips and advice on where to find training services and employment assistance.
Jora is a search engine, that will seek out results from job sites all around Australia, based on the keywords and location that you enter. They have search engines targeted to many other countries as well, if you were looking to find overseas employment. Jora are partnered with SEEK, so the process is very similar. You can search for positions via keywords, see detailed role descriptions, and then you can follow a link to the original posting location for the role, and apply from there.
